BEFORE YOU CONTACT A PROVIDER

Ask a few careful questions.

  • Are you a licensed attorney or DOJ-accredited representative?
  • What organization are you affiliated with, and can I verify it?
  • Do you handle this type of immigration matter?
  • What services are included, what will they cost, and is there a written agreement?
  • How will my documents and personal information be protected?

Never hand over original documents without understanding why they are needed. Keep copies of everything you sign or submit.
